Meri Kurisumasu! : D

Merry Christmas everyone! And Happy New Year! ^^

I hope that all of you have a wonderful Christmas time - with family, friends and with snow ; D

And I wish you all the best in 2011 year! Stay healthy and always be happy! : D

In Poland, 24th of December is a very special day.
Most of people spend this day with family or dearest friends.
My parents, sister and I are going to my dad's parents home and have a Christmas dinner there (it's kinda a tradition : P).
This time my mum's parents are not going with us, because they want to rest in our home.
I can't wait for the yummy food!

All I see is... kanji!

Hello everyone~
How are you?

Well... Lately I have been very busy because of my school. So many things to learn!

Next month I will have semester exams and I'm starting to get stressed out~ ;__;

Plus I have big problem with one of my subject
This subject is called Writing and all we are doing is learning kanji. I bet everyone knows what is kanji, right?
Anyway. We have to learn about 2000 kanji in 3 years, which means more than 600 per year.
Conclusion:
On this Tuesday I have test, which includes 100 characters (NUUU~~!).
Today is Friday and I already know 20 of them. So I have to learn 80 of them in 3 days, OMG! >_<
And I MUST to earn maximum points. If I don't I can literally say "bye bye" to Japanese...

I'm seriously freaked out. All I see is kanji. They are everywhere~!

Wish me luck, please~~! * o *

I'm not feeling so fly~

Hello everyone! How are you?
I hope that you are a hundred times better than I am... : (

Well... Almost two months in my new school passed and I have very mixed feelings...
I absolutely love my lessons (or should I say lectures?). Japanese language is sure beautiful and interesting~ <3 And lessons such as history of Japanese literature or history of Japan are awesome, but...
I reallyreallyreally hate 3/4 of my groupmates. I REALLY, TRULY, TOTALLY HATE THEM!!! : O
I know that it's awful feeling and we shouldn't hate anyone, but these persons are just amazingly annoying, grrr~~~
I am trying to tell myself that everything will be ok, and I should just focus on studying, forget about these annoying idiots from my group and talk with people from the second group (there are few of my friends)... I must say it's hard... : /
Maybe you have some tips how to survive in class, in which are idiots whom you hate? : (

Today I'm double unhappy, 'cause my Korean Cuisine Course ended...
First were making kimchi, eating it with rice, and then we had small farewell party with ice creams, apple pie and chocolate mousse. I already miss Korean food and people from there~ T^T

Our kimchi:

Sorry for bad quality, I think my hands were shaking : P

After that, me and my friend stayed for the film.
Today's one was called Rough Cut.

And this is trailer of Rough Cut:

Have you seen this film? If no, I honestly recommend it to you~!
I like it so much!!! The plot was very interesting and actors were great! So JiSeob was so handsome~! Kkkk ^^

Ok, I have to go to sleep now ^^'
See you next time!
Bye bye!

Roarrrr!

Hi everyone! What's up? ^^

I titled this post "roarrr", because I'm gonna watch "Jurassic Park 3" soon ; )
Gee, I TOTALLY LOVE Jurassic Park series! <3
I remember when I was 8, and my mum took me to the cinema, to watch "Lost World: Jurassic Park". I was so excited! Before film, we went to the Burger King and she bought me kid's set with little green dinosaur toy ^^
Uwaah, it was 13 years ago! Time passes so quickly! *suddenly felt very old* xD

How cute~~! ->

Yesterday I had opening ceremony at my new school. Want to hear some of my impressions? Here we go!
- Teachers seem to be VERY nice! They were joking, they were laughing, they were very patient when 1928273 people were asking them silly questions about studies. I hope they will be still nice when lessons begin!
- People from my class are so friendly! I already talked with several of them and I have a feeling that we will be good friends later ^^'
- My senpais also seem to be really nice. I hope they will take care of us - lost and scared kohais - in our first days! xD
- I accidentally met a boy whom I knew from my language school (I have learned Japanese at language school for one year, do you remember? ^^), we haven't been in the same group then, but guess what? He is in my class now, haha!

I can't wait for this Monday! : D

Ok, that's all for now. See you verrry soon! またね! : )

So grey...

Hello everyone!

Gee... I didn't write for such a long time... I'm sorry, I just didn't have... um, you know... the thing called inspiration >_<

But firstly I wanted to say "thank you" to Bagyra and Aeshna for comments. So... THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR COMMENTS! ^^

Today I feel so grey... And it's not only because of the weather which is cloudy, rainy and... grey ; P Nope. I just... Hm... Lately I had many questions in my head - what I want to do, who I want to be in the future, where am I now... In short: I was wondering about my life. I'm still confused who I want to be (of course I want to be fluent in English, Japanese and Korean, but what's next? What about job?)...
I guess I have to focus on studying now - be very good student, so I can get a scholarship maybe aaand... we will see ^^'

Yup. Today I'm in very melancholic mood... I'm listening to calm/sad songs, watching pictures of fake but cute ulzzang people and thinking "Ahhh, why I don't have such face like they! They're soooo pretty! Ehehe... I want to change my face~!", reading romantic stories about my favorite Korean bands members and eating sweets... How pathetic is that? ; P

But look what I just saw outside my window!

How pretty, isn't it? : D

My sister with my dad went to the grandparents home for 2~3 days, so I can pretend that I have room only for me (because normally, I'm dealing room with younger sister... Uh). But soon, I will have my own room for real! My second grandparents are moving out to another flat, so my sis will move to their old room and I will stay in this one, which I love, because it's so bright and... hm... you know... so mine! Yay! ; D
Of course I'm thinking about refurbishment and rearranging... Dark floor, white walls, white shelves, big pine desk on the one side, high white wardrobe with mirror on the other side, navy blue Fatboy in the corner... What do you think? : )

Fatboy:

Ok. I think that's all for today. Don't be afraid to comment! ; D
じゃね!

Farewell song for you. I love it very much~!

Oh yeah!

Hello everyone! How are you? : )

I have good news - I got accepted from the university and from this October I will study Japanese (日本学科), YAY! : D

I'm so bored... All my friends are on vacation and I'm sitting at home alone.
As you read in my previous post I planed to watch dramas etc, but I haven't watched any yet XD But I think I will start watching one today, however I don't know which one... I'm thinking about "The Imperial Household"... Or... Hm... Maybe you have some propositions?

Two days ago my friend came to me and we wanted to watch horrors at night. We decided to watch "The Neighbor Zombie" aka "이웃집 좀비".

We watched something about 30~40 minutes of it and then something happened with the Internet, and we couldn't watch the rest. Anyway, it was pretty scary film! I'm afraid of zombies and I have nightmares with these creatures pretty often >_<

I bought some new clothes recently. Do you know shops called "Second Hand" or "Vintage"? I like to have unique clothes, but I don't want to spend much money on buying them, so I love shopping there from time to time : )

Black bolero with silver thread. I think I will wear it for special occasions.

Aquamarine blouse. I like the color : )

Ok, that's all for now. Thank you for reading, don't be afraid to comment and see you later! バイ-バイ! ^ v ^

Holiday!

Hello everyone! How are you? : )

Two days ago summer holiday officially started! Yay! My plans for these 2-3 months of free time are:
- to watch manymany films, Japanese and Korean dramas
- to read manymany books and mangas
- to spend much time outside the house (bike, swimming pool, roller skates and so on)
- to learn Japanese by myself (on this Thursday I will have last Japanese lesson in this semester...) and try to learn Korean

Sadly I am not going anywhere. But it's not a big problem for me.
What are your plans for these holiday? Please, tell me! : )

What do you like to drink? I'm totally addicted to non-carbonated water, green tea and milk : 3

Here are some of my favorite drinks (from the left):
1. Green tea with jasmine. Smell of jasmine is unbelievable beautiful!
2. Green sencha. Very healthy and it wakes you up better than coffee : 3
3. Strawberry buttermilk. I love all drinks from milk or with milk, like cocoa, yogurt, hot chocolate and so on : )
4. Milk! <3
5. Vegetable juice with ginseng. Healthy and delicious.
6. Water, this time with lemon juice. Sometimes I'm adding fresh mint leaves. It's refreshing and healthy.

I don't drink coffee and drinks with bubbles (like coca-cola, sprite etc). Sometimes, when I'm at someone's else house I drink black tea, but I don't add sugar to it.

I want to go to hairdresser soon, but I haven't decided yet what I want to do with my hair... I'm thinking about cutting fringe a little bit and maybe cutting hair, too? I don't know... Two months ago I went to hairdresser with picture of Bom Park from 2NE1.

And I have hairstyle like her: short fringe and long straight hair. But the problem is that having a long hair is quite uncomfortable... Hmm. Maybe I should cut it to shoulders... I have no idea.

My sister has new hamster. Her name is Pastel (yes, like that crayon : P) and she is soooo cute! ^_^

Sorry for weird pose, but she didn't want to stop moving, haha ^^
When I will have my own room I want to have hamster, too : 3

Ok, last picture - my today's dessert. Ice cream with dried fruits & nuts, yummy! ^^

Which ice cream flavor is your favorite? My favorites are: malaga, coconut and... 1038373693 others : P

Tomorrow I'm going to the library and to the post office to send letter for my friend. I hope the heat will not kill me, hehe : P

Ok, that's all for today. Thank you for reading and don't be afraid to comment! ^^ See you! じゃね!

Latest activities

Hello everyone! How are you? : )

Today (after 3 extremely hot days) is gray, rainy and quite cold. I should go for theatrical class soon, but I'm too lazy and I will stay at home : P

In my previous post I forgot to tell you about one very important thing which happened to me... On last Saturday I received my first snail mail letter (or I should say - package? Because with lovely letter I got notebook and sweets : D) from friend from Taiwan! I was SO HAPPY! And still I am! I didn't expect to receive it so quickly. Thank you Fangying!!! <3 I hope you will like my package for you, as well ^^

Two days ago I went to the Museum of Asia and Pacific for a meeting about 茶道 - the Way of Tea. We've seen how Japanese tea ceremony looks, what is important, what we should say on what moments etc. I took a photo (I'm sorry for bad quality):

It wasn't my first time when I was watching tea ceremony demonstration, BUT for the first time I had a chance to taste the tea (抹茶, to be exact) : ) Each person from audience received a sweet (no, not traditional お菓子. It was home-made meringue with marzipan leaf) and minute later I drank the most delicious tea in my life ; )

Do you like dancing? I do, but I completely suck at it. When I'm dancing I look like a fish on the sand... I'm so jealous while watching people dancing K-pop covers on YouTube... Me and my friend have crazy idea to create dance group. We want to dance like SNSD, 2NE1 and 2PM, haha : P (I have baaaad feelings about it XD)
By the way, look what I found yesterday:

After 30 seconds I realized that these are boys!!! Omo, they did a great job, don't you think so? : D

Ok, this post is long enough for today. Thank you for reading! See you! バイバイ!^^

Trip

Hello! : )

Past few days have been warm and sunny, so me and my friend (my sister's friend, to be precisely) went on geocaching on Friday. Do you know what geocaching is?
"Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences online."
It's a definition from http://www.geocaching.com/

But we don't use GPS, only maps : )
We took our bikes and set off on the road. And look what we saw:

As you know Poland have problems with flood recently, but I was shocked when I saw this on our way - huge part of bicycle path was under the wather...
But don't worry, my home is safe ; )

Today is windy and cloudy, and I suppose it will rain soon... Too bad, because I have to go out. Oh, by the way, I just read that Rain wins MTV's Badass Award! Yay, go Rain! ; D

Ok, it's all for today. Thank you for reading and please don't hesitate to comment from time to time ; ) See you! じゃね!^^

Hello!

Hello everyone!
It's my first post! ^^
Ok, I will introduce myself once again - my name is Dominika, I'm 21 years old (I hate my age T^T) and I'm from Poland. I like writing and meeting new people, that's why I'm here : D I will write in English, but as you see I'm not native speaker, so if I make mistake please understand me and maybe correct me? ^^'

Today I had really nice day. I had Japanese lesson (I'm learning Japanese from one year. 日本語が大好きです!^^), we were translating one of The Gazette's song called Cassis. I love that song! Do you know The Gazette? It's my favorite J-rock band, their music is beautiful! : )
When I returned home huge storm has came and I was afraid that electricity will break out, but luckily everything was fine. I was starving, so I decided to make an onigiri! : D

I used たまご ふりかけ - egg flavor spice to rice.

And this is result of my work:

It was delicious ^^

I like cooking and baking, so be prepared for my next dishes ; )

Ok, that's all for today. See you next time! またね!^^
